THE
GUEST BOOK!!! and What They Had to Say...
A sailing holiday was what we'd
had planned
With a Captain and First Mate -
the boat was all manned.
A flutter of humorous e-mails were sent
And lo and behold - off to Greece we all went!
On arrival we found that the welcome was warm
With Nigel and Deb. we'd come to no harm
!
But the quiet sea was not what it seemed
Soon a sheltered harbour was of what we all dreamed!
But gallantly we braved the waves and the storm
As if for Destiny it was all quite the norm.
As one of our party headed straight for the car
Claiming the best option for him, it was by far!
Can I write ALL about it - the good and the worse
Remember you can always censor this verse!
I won't mention Nigel's awesome reversing drills
Despite Deb's efficient First Mate's skills!
But it's as a teacher that his vocation he's missed
Inspiring confidence in beginners, never of course p*****
Kind and understanding to young and to old
Our teenage children were as good as gold!
Eventually on calmer shores we stood.
Where the sun, the gin and the lunches were good!
They had all the local information for us on tap
But did Nigel really know how to read that map?
Moonlit meals in port with the day's work all done
Deb and Nigel's kindness was second to none.
And now, to sailing we are converts to a man (especially the man!)
For lo! To buy our own boat, now is the plan!
So Deb. and Nigel just look what you've done -
You shouldn't have made it quite so much fun!
We'll hold you responsible forever for this -
For the summer's memories and a good time in Greece!
We arrived as guests and - (happy the story ends)
Left seven days later the very best of friends.
So thanks for the company, the food and the wine.
We will return your hospitality, threefold, sometime!

" What a holiday. Twelve months later we are still talking about it. We gave
Nigel and Deb the broad outline of what we wanted and they certainly
delivered, capturing the beauty of the Greek Islands without
being 'touristy'. From swimming in the clear waters of 'Nuns Bay', to
excellent
lunches on board, to fine food at various tavernas and wandering streets of
less
frequented islands. It was all sensational. Good food, good scenery, good
company, good sailing and an 'anchor' beer is a must. One of the most
relaxing
holidays we have had and we would do it again."

We spent 7 fantastic days sailing through the Peloponese on board
of "Destiny"
We were interested in
improving our sailing knowledge and discovering Greece at the same time, but what we
didnt know is that many other surprises were waiting for us :
Snorkling and sun bathing in
wonderful little bays, mountain biking in islands like Spetses, water skiing in Porto
Heli, meeting dolphins families swimming with us, having fresh salads and fruits for
lunch on "Destiny"
.and all this with the wonderful company of Deb,
Nigel
.and of course without forgetting George and Greta !! you will meet them
as well once on board.
Deb and Nigel adapt easily
to what one is looking for and their flexibility will make anyone feel really relax on
board.
Enjoy your sailing with
them ! !
